Tumor Microenvironment Systems in Precision Medicine Symposium

  • Address: Institute for Tumor Biology and Experimental Therapy, Georg-Speyer-Haus, Frankfurt - Germany
  • Language: English
  • Registration necessary: Yes

The TMEsystems24 event will explore translational tumor microenvironment research linked to clinical trials, entrepreneurial initiatives, and mechanistic studies utilizing emerging model systems and spatial/multi-omics. We are honored to have Dr. Joe Gray from Oregon Health & Science University (Portland, OR, USA) confirmed as a keynote speaker to enhance our discussions on precision medicine programs involving cancer systems approaches.  In five sessions we will analyze complex TME interactions, hypoxia, extracellular vesicles, inflammation, antigenicity, and their role and predictive value in therapy efficacy. While dominated by breast cancer; the symposium will also cover other cancer types including lung and colon cancer, melanoma, uveal melanoma, brain cancers and acute myeloid leukemia.

Sessions and Speakers:

  • Novel model systems: Eivind Egeland (Norway), Colinda Scheele (Belgium), Paloma Ordóñez-Morán (UK)
  • Spatial/multi -omics: Spencer Watson (Switzerland), Chris Marine (Belgium), Zuzana Tatarova and Julia Frede (Germany)
  • From mechanism to translation: Silvia Pastorekova (Slovakia), Cathrin Brisken (Switzerland, UK), Justin Balko (USA), Angela Riedel (Germany)
  • Insights from clinics: Jonathan Kurie (USA), Ulrich Keller and Lena Jassowicz (Germany)
  • Insights from small companies: Raj Lehal (Switzerland), Daniela Pankova (Czech Republic)
